Caedicia simplex, Common garden katydid

Swan Coastal Plain, Perth, Western Australia

I found these katydid nymphs in the mint patch in my backyard where their bright green colouration allowed them to blend in seamlessly. As adults they will possess large wings, which are already starting to grow in the left individual.
