Coryphistes ruricola, Bark mimicking grasshopper

This camouflaged grasshopper proved fairly difficult to capture. Not only did its colouration seamlessly blend in with the tree trunk it sought refuge on, its large blue/greyish wings allowed it to fly great distances.
