Megachile (Hackeriapis) aurifrons ♀

Swan Coastal Plain, Perth, Western Australia

One of the many species in this large genus of bees. Opposite sexes of this species look very different, leading me to initially assume that they were different species. Identification provided by Terry Houston, of the Western Australian Museum.
