Swan Coastal Plain, Perth, Western Australia

The shores of the lower reaches of the Swan River consists of narrow beaches and rocky limestone cliffs. In many areas there are large fragments of limestone scattered along the shoreline. These rocks make excellent shelters for a variety of small crustaceans and arthropods. As I was searching for something to photographs I encountered a large variety of small crabs huddled safely under the rocks. At this point I am still unsure what species it belongs to.
